What computer component is primarily responsible for converting input data into meaningful output information?

The processor, more formally known as the central processing unit (CPU), has the electronic circuitry that manipulates input data into the information people want. The central processing unit executes computer instructions that are specified in the program.

Is an input device that converts an existing paper image into an electronic file that you can open and work with on your computer?

An image scanner—often abbreviated to just scanner—is a device that optically scans images, printed text, handwriting or an object and converts it to a digital image. Commonly used in offices are variations of the desktop flatbed scanner where the document is placed on a glass window for scanning.

What type of memory contains the instructions needed to start a computer group of answer choices?

What are the two types memory can be classed as? What is the purpose of memory? The Central Processing Unit (CPU) needs to store data whilst it is carrying out the processing required. ROM is a type of memory which stores the instructions which the computer uses when it 'boots up'.

What is a complex integrated circuit consisting of millions of electronic parts and is primarily responsible for converting input into output?

A complex integrated circuit consisting of millions of electronic parts and is primarily responsible for converting input (data) into meaningful output (information). Embedded wires connected to the CPU allowing data to travel in and out of the CPU. Processors with multiple cores.
