1.The Psychoanalytic perspective: Forces that drive behavior we do not understand or are unaware of; psychological science studies observable and measurable behavior. I chose these two statements because Psychoanalysis deals with many mixed emotions and behaviors that no one can comprehend, which can be believed to be a mental disorder. 2.The Humanistic perspective: motivated by self-actualization and the promise of human potential. I believe behavioral methods such as positive or negative reinforcements can promote human growth and make people want to be their best version. 3.The Social perspective: individuals need empathy, unconditional positive regard, and acceptance to be successful. When I think of social and requiring approval from someone, I think of therapy and how humanistic psychologists, such as therapists, look through all perspectives to understand one's views. 4.The Cognitive Perspective: The mind can be viewed as an information processing system. my reasoning behind this statement is that it looks at how your brain breaks down the information and processes it. 5.The Behavioral perspective: Psychological science is the study of behavior that is observable and measurable. This statement would be matched with behavior because it looks at the behavior and how measurable it can be. 6.The Evolutionary Perspective: Some may argue that the evolutionary perspective is the process of natural selection. •The approach that suggests that observable, measurable behavior should be the focus of study.•John B.
