Will there be a season 2 of my mental choices are completely interfering with my school romantic comedy?

This article discusses whether there will be a season 2 of the Netflix series Uncoupled and its renewed or cancelled status. This article contains spoilers.

Uncoupled is the latest TV outing from Darren Star (Sex and the City) and Jeffrey Richman (Modern Family). The romantic comedy follows realtor Michael Lawson, who finds himself single for the first time in 17 years, after long-term boyfriend Colin ends their relationship without any prior warning or any real excuses. This devastating blow causes Michael to doubt himself and after an unproductive couple’s therapy session, Michael decides to start dating once more.

The series focuses on the highs and lows of modern dating, with Michael getting into some rather tricky situations. The humor is top notch for the most part and this tale of friendship and romance connects on a personal level. Neil Patrick Harris is superb in the lead role, providing another stellar performance as our lovable singleton, who happens to be unlucky in love. The season ends with many cliff-hangers, but will there be a follow-up series?

Will there be a season 2 of the Netflix series Uncoupled – renewed or cancelled status

Status: TBC

The renewal status of Uncoupled is still pending over at Netflix, but it is still early days yet. I’d be very surprised if this series isn’t renewed though as the show sets up many subplots for a second season and has a likeable lead in NPH. Darren Star’s other Netflix original, Emily in Paris is slated for a third and fourth season, so I’d be shocked if Uncoupled doesn’t get similar treatment.

Season one ended with Stanley’s cancer scare, Suzanne meeting with Kai’s father and Billy confronting his own demons. Whilst Michael seemed happier than ever, with Colin agreeing to sell his half of the apartment to him. Michael appeared to be maturing and finally making the right steps towards moving on, although Colin ruined all this progress in the final scene. He told Michael that he thought he’d made a mistake in ending their relationship. It’s a juicy cliff-hanger that leaves the story open to many subsequent escapades. Hopefully viewers will enjoy this show and Netflix will renew Uncoupled for a second season. As always, we’ll keep you posted on any updates in the pending renewal of Uncoupled.

You can watch this series with a subscription to Netflix.
