The rich history of Hikami Mountain
Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water is set on Hikami Mountain, a fictional location infamous for a high rate of suicides, weird sightings, and questionable happenings. The mountain used to be a crossing between the worlds of the living and the dead. The residents of Hikami Mountain were shrine maidens who would guide lost souls into the peaceful abyss.
