In dem Tutorial zu "Die Siedler IV" weise ich auf ein 2. Video bzw. Tutorial zu "Die Siedler IV" hin. Leider gibt es kein 2. Tutorial. Ich habe mehrere Tage versucht das Spiel mit verschiedenen Einstellungen sowie mit Hilfe verschiedener virtueller Betriebssysteme auf Windows 8 (64-Bit Betriebssystem) zum Laufen zu bekommen (ich war davon ausgegangen, dass das problemlos funktionieren wird). Das Spiel startete sowohl mit dem VMWare Player (Betriebssystem Windows XP) als auch mit der Virtual Box (Betriebssystem Windows 98) nicht. Es kommt jedes Mal die Fehlermeldung:

Die einzige Lösung, welche mir noch einfällt, wäre das Spiel auf einem Linux Betriebssystem (z. B. Ubuntu) mit Hilfe von "Wine" (damit kann man Windows Programme und Spiele auch auf Linux Betriebssystemen ausführen bzw. spielen) zu starten. Ich habe in verschiedenen Foren gelesen, dass das Spiel mit Hilfe von Wine laufen soll, es selbst aber noch nicht ausprobiert. Diese Lösung wird auch wohl nur für diejenigen sinnvoll sein, welche Linux bereits installiert haben. Sonst wäre es sicher zu viel Aufwand.
